Description
The 1991 NRL Grand Final was between the Penrith Panthers and the Canberrra Raiders. On the sunny afternoon of Sunday, 22 September the Sydney Football Stadium was packed to capacity with a crowd of 41,815 for the rematch of the previous season’s grand final, and Canberra’s third in a row. The Panthers went on to win the Grand Final 19-12 after Royce Simmons scored two tries.
