The rivalry between Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson and Larry Bird first garnered national attention during the 1979 NCAA National Championship. Johnson led Michigan State to victory, defeating Bird and Indiana State in the highest rated college basketball game of all time. They moved seamlessly to the NBA, where they reinvigorated their teams. Bird brought life back to the Boston Celtics franchise, while Magic became the star of the Los Angeles Lakers. Magic Johnson and Larry Bird both became household names at the same time, and they spent the next decade as the biggest stars in basketball. They were constantly compared to each other, and their success and failures were always measured against each other. More than three decades after facing off in the NCAA Finals they remain best of friends.

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at Shop 6/10 Dawn Fraser Avenue, Sydney Olympic Park. Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to be prepared and ready for pickup.  You will receive a notification when your order is ready along with detailed instruction for make things easy.

Our in-store pickup hours are 8am to 4pm Monday through Saturday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping

We can ship internationally, however suggest selecting local pickup and sending us a note with your order. We will arrange for a postage estimate and communicate with you via email to confirm.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Icons of Sport is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you created an account on our site, you can check your account history and orders.

If you haven’t received your order within 3 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@iconsofsport.com.au with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
