On the 25th of April 1915 a contingent of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps landed at Gallipoli… the rest is history and the legend of the ANZAC remains with us forever.
To commemorate the landing at Anzac Cove we are offering you this amazing photo of the A&NZAC 11th Battalion, 3rd Brigade – 1st Division, Australian Imperial Force-AIF taken at the Pyramids of Cheops, Egypt on Sunday 10th January 1915.
The photo carries an official embossed seal and a stamped serial number. It has been framed with the official battalion colours and the Australian Army General Service (Rising Sun) Badge which was worn on the Slouch Hat. LEST WE FORGET.
